Which UK universities accept Neco?
To again admission into a UK university, a major requirement is for applicants to demonstrate their English language proficiency which is simply their ability to read, write, listen and comprehend. Many universities would consider the Waec or Neco as long as that you passed with a minimum score of C6 in English language. This means any grade above C6 is acceptable. However certain course like Nursing, Education, linguistic, medicine, public health would require you to have an IELTS or any equivalent.

Accepted English language proficiency varies depending on the course and university. Universities like South bank do not accept Waec, Wassce, GCE O levels, KSCE or Neco that are older than 5 years old for example. Therefore which universities are likely to accept your neco?
- UNIVERSITY OF SHEFFIELD: All applicants are required to have an internationally recognised English language qualification, such as IELTS or equivalent. Completing a degree from any of these countries exempts you any proof of English language requirements when submitting an application: Antigua and Barbuda, Australia, the Bahamas, Barbados, Belize, Dominica, Grenada, Guyana, Ireland, Jamaica, Malta, New Zealand, St Kitts and Nevis, St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines, Trinidad and Tobago, UK, USA.
