4 TIPS FOR PASSING YOUR DIGITAL MARKETER INTERVIEW

TIP #1 - Whilst you will be provided with in-house training as a Digital Marketer, it is important you have a broad knowledge of campaign types, how they work and what you would specifically do to improve the return on investment for each client. Before you attend your digital marketing interview, make sure your knowledge is up-to-date in respect of the common campaigns used by all digital marketing agencies.

TIP #2 - The best digital marketing agencies and digital marketers only use ethical advertising campaigns. In the modern-world of digital marketing, there is place for cutting corners or using short-term strategies in order to win over clients. An open, honest and ethical approach will always win you the job, so make sure your skillset is aligned to digital marketing campaigns that are both ethical and professional.

TIP #3 - Before you attend your digital marketing interview, we strongly recommend you have a basic understanding of Google Analytics. After all, without this essential tool, you will not be able to measure the performance of your digital marketing and advertising campaigns and show your clients how their investment is being put to good use.

TIP #4 - Think carefully about one particular area of Digital Marketing you excel in. Whilst it is important to have a good knowledge of all aspects of digital marketing opportunities, being able to excel in one particular aspect, is always attractive to a digital marketing agency or employer.
